Fast or Explosive Kettlebell Exercises
Kettlebell exercises can mostly be grouped into two categories. The first is the fast or explostive kettlebell exercises. These are exercises that require fast twitch muscle fibers and build quickness, agility, reaction time, and in come cases hand eye coordination. These exercises are better suites for sports specific training in the areas of speed and agility such as sprinting, jumping, fighting, etc.

Slow Kettlebell Exercises – Grinds
The second category of kettlebell exercises are the slow lifts, also called grinds. These exercises are slow moving motions. These slow exercises build endurance, power, core strength, and balance. They duration of reps and sets of often longer on the slow kettlebell exercises. A well balanced kettlebell workout incorporates both slow and explosive kettlebell exercises.
